Dakota Roar
The Dakota Student has an article in today's paper that mentions a website called Dakota Roar. This is a forum for UND students that was started a few months back.
Nice to see that website get a mention in the paper, but I'm left thinking...how can we, the bloggers of Grand Forks, get free publicity like this too? Anybody have an in at the Dakota Student?
BTW, is it just me or is it confusing that the address for Dakota Roar is http://roar.ndbison.com/? I thought this was a UND forum...why Bison? What's up with that?!?

It's a simple answer, really. I was offered some (free) webspace by the guy who runs www.ndbison.com, and I took the offer. If I wanted to I could set it up to mask the URL, but then the auto-login gets messed up, so I leave it. :-D
Well that was nice of that guy, huh? Students from UND and NDSU cooperating on something...wow! Congrats on the article. Hope it brings you a bunch of visitors. BTW, I'm gonna put a link to your forum on my blog.
Dakota Roar is so great that you should make a 3rd post about it!
Maybe you should directly contact the Dakota Student about becoming an "adjunct blogger" or something. Just a thought.

I don't think Mr.Matt would be interested in being an adjuncy blogger for the DS, based on the kind words he posted on Dakota Roar about the student newspaper.
