Tornado pictures
We've seen images of the destruction caused by Sunday evening's tornado and now we are able to see images of the actual tornado that struck Northwood. Several UND atmospheric science graduate students were out storm chasing on Sunday evening and you can view their gallery of images.

I found some more information on the storm from NWS's website. I found it interesting if you want to know more details about some specifics on the tornados that hit around our area Sunday night. Besides the Northwood tornado, there were also a few others that were reported. Anyways, here is the link from an NWS webpage, http://www.crh.noaa.gov/fgf/. Check out the links under top news of the day. Sorry that the link isn't a hypertext link, I don't know how to post hypertext on this blog quite yet. Tornados, hurricanes, and any severe weather that directly affects human lives and property are unfortunate, and my heart goes out to those in Northwood, and I will help out somehow, but I found the details of the storm interesting. But with any unfortunate event, you will always find an outpouring of support from people who want to help out, from events such as Hurricane Katrina to the recent tornado that hit Northwood.
