Thanksgiving thread

What am I thankful for?

Right now, I'm feeling thankful for a few things...

First, how about those 720 people that LM Glasfiber will be employing in the coming year? That's phenomenal!

It's obviously closely related to something else I'm thankful for: Grand Forks' job growth. We went from being on the brink a few years ago to being a leader of the pack today.

I'm also thankful that so many people in the city seem to feel the same way that I do about Smiley the Water Tower.

Ok, your turn. What are you thankful for?

Unseasonably nice weather...a warm house, ample food, a family that cares about each other, good health, a friendly community, great schools...and freedom of choice of religion, freedom to speak out on issues (as we often do here)...so very much to be thankful for.

Okay...there are a few health problems, but it could be a lot worse; Family? Well, not everything runs smoothly, but...we're still family, we still love each other. All around, we're really blessed---and grateful. Happy thanksgiving to all of you!
