Wow. I just did a tally of how many comments I've gotten to the 115 or so posts that I have put up here on Grand Forks Life since last October. Guess how many comments there are now? Well, it looks like just on Thursday we had the 1,000th comment. You guys like talking, don't you? Keep it up!

115 posts and 1,000 comments is an awesome ratio.
I remember when I first started blogging and no one commented. For the first six months or so, outside of the odd comment here and there, it was pretty much just me talking to the void.
You're off to a great start.
Yesterday I noticed that my blog passed the 100,000 comments mark. I was going to give away a prize (Amazon gift certificate) to whoever was the 100,000th commenter, but it snuck up on me.
