Shameless self-congratulation

Yippee, the popular North Dakota-based Say Anything blog just listed me on their blogroll. How nice of them! For me, this is a nice end to a very busy month on Grand Forks Life. As I write this, the blog has now had 9,719 visits and 19,128 page views since its start in October 2005. I should remind you that Grand Forks Life wouldn't be a reality if it wasn't for the readers and commenters out there. It makes blogging worthwhile when I see people actually reading and commenting on what I have to say. I never thought that a little blog created by yours truly would amount to much or that anyone would care to listen to me. I hope you'll continue to read GFL as I report on life as I see it in our fair city.

Yay for GFL! I check your site at least twice per day, always hungry for new tidbits and insight (and also secretly hoping to find out who you are, mr. mystery) I refer people to your site too, because you always seem to have the scoop first. Keep up the good work!

I was glad to add you. I didn't know you existed until I found you through Dakota Huseby's blog.

We ND bloggers have to stick together. There aren't many of us.

Great blog, GFG... I only recently came across your blog and having lived in this great city for a year and a half, it's great to read about some of the new establishments moving into the area. You seem to have the scoop before anyone else, so I come here first! I'm a fellow blogger, myself, but mainly only for personal purposes... although, I keep a "weatherBlog" and "photoBlog" as well. I'm a meteorologist for a private company here in town, so I tend to write more often about the weather around here and my storm chasing expeditions. If you're interested in linking to any of these, let me know and I can forward my URL's.

Keep up the great work!
